Labcorp OnDemand: prices and how it works
Lab testing service
Labcorp OnDemand is Labcorp's direct-to-consumer testing site. You buy an STI test online and give a blood, urine or self-collected vaginal swab sample at a Labcorp patient service center. Labcorp says listed prices include the ordering provider's fee. It also sells an at-home rapid syphilis self-test.
Best for: People who want to buy single STI tests or a full panel online and walk into a Labcorp center, and who have their own provider for any treatment.

How it works
- Buy a test online; a provider from an independent network reviews and approves the order.
- You receive an email with a lab requisition number.
- Visit a Labcorp patient service center with the requisition number and a photo ID; no appointment is required.
- View results in your Labcorp Patient account, usually 1–4 days after the sample reaches the lab.
Results, privacy and payment
- Results
- Results appear in your Labcorp Patient account, counted from when the sample arrives at the lab: 1–4 days for the Complete STI Test, HIV and syphilis tests; 1–3 days for hepatitis C and herpes; 2–4 days for HPV; 3–4 days for the chlamydia, gonorrhea and trichomoniasis test and Mycoplasma genitalium. The syphilis self-test is read at home in about 15 minutes.
- Privacy
- Results are delivered through a secure portal and are also available to the independent provider who ordered the test; your own doctor sees them only if you share them. Everyone linked to your Labcorp Patient account can see OnDemand results. Labcorp does not bill insurance. Positive results for reportable infections are reported to public health as required by law, even when the test is ordered online.
- Insurance and payment
- Cash pay only: "Labcorp OnDemand® tests are paid for by you and we do not bill your insurance." HSA/FSA cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo are accepted. Before your sample is collected you can get a refund, minus a non-refundable fee.
- Physician consultation
- An independent physician network orders the test, and Labcorp says each test price includes the ordering provider's fee. If results are abnormal, a provider contacts you to discuss them at no extra cost; the consult does not include treatment or prescriptions, so treatment needs your own provider. No physician service comes with the syphilis self-test.

- There is no 4-infection basic panel; the only full panel is the 7-infection Complete STI Test.
- The provider consultation does not include treatment or prescriptions.
- No lab-processed at-home STI kit; the only home option is a rapid syphilis self-test.
- No Labcorp collection sites in Hawaii, Maine or North Dakota, and insurance is not billed.
