Results: Results are posted to your private online account, with an email when they are ready, typically 1–2 business days after the lab visit. HIV RNA takes 2–4 business days, and the FAQ says HIV RNA, trichomoniasis and Mycoplasma genitalium can take up to an extra week.
Privacy: STDcheck.com does not bill insurance and says results are not sent to an insurer or added to your medical record. Card charges show as "ANALYTE HEALTH". Positive results for reportable infections are reported to public health as required by law, even when the test is ordered online. The physician group's terms say a positive result may be disclosed to your state health agency.
Physician consultation: Lab orders are authorized by an independent physician group, and a physician fee is added per order at checkout. After a positive result you can speak with a physician by phone; several pages call this consultation free, while the FAQ lists a fee for a consultation with a written prescription and another for a partner prescription.

Results: Results are posted to your secure online account and app about 2–5 days after your sample arrives at the lab. Samples must be collected on a weekday morning and shipped the same day.
Privacy: Kits arrive in a plain envelope with no LetsGetChecked branding visible. The company says it shares information only where needed to provide its services or where it has a legal basis. Positive results for reportable infections are reported to public health as required by law, even when the test is ordered online.
Physician consultation: A clinician reviews results, and people with positive results get a call from the clinical team. Treatment (for chlamydia, and on the larger panels trichomoniasis and Mycoplasma) needs a paid virtual consultation, and medication costs extra. Not available in AK, DC, GA, IN, KS, MS, NM or WV. Gonorrhea is not treated; it needs an injection from a local provider.
